An excellent field guide, but the "of Florida" tag is very misleading. It is actually a general guide to birds of North America, superficially edited to imply that it was produced specifically for Florida. All of the range maps show the entire North American continent, rather than focusing on ranges within the state of Florida. The species notes are also very general for North America, providing no insights into status of populations in Florida. It appears that very little consideration of Florida was given to selection of the species included in the guide. Western species are indeed mentioned in a separate section, but Eastern species from the subtropics to the subarctic are all included as if they were Florida birds. If you are looking for detailed bird information specifically for the state of Florida, this is not the bird guide for you.

The content of this book is great. The book itself is a mess. There is a page with a hole in it and several pages with blurry printing. It was printed in China. Such a shame to ruin such a good book with careless workmanship.

Great beginners guide to identifying birds, like the layout of the book shows details of the birds in Florida. Highly recommend this book! I went to my local library and viewed the different books on birds before buying the ones that fit my needs. I have several guide books, and learn something different in each one.

Although this is a very well organized book with great illustrations, it is not an all-inclusive bird guide to Florida birds. I have an inland waterway (freshwater) in my backyard and purchased the book to assist me in identifying the numerous species of birds which transit, nest, and roost in and along it. I nearly immediately, upon receipt of the book, attempted to identify several species. The book did not contain two (2) species I observed despite my relentless and thorough review of the book. I was somewhat disappointed based on the tile of the book. I will have to purchase another book which (hopefully!) contains ALL the species.

Got this for my grandson he is very much into the study of birds, this book was very informative and great for learning about the habits of different birds and where their from.

Photos are a little small, but okay. The book is full of information and specifics on most breeds here. A good buy. We are using it to identify the birds like the Pileated Woodpeckers, Harriers, and Ruby Throated Hummingbirds. Great fun for us older, seasoned citizens - the young too.

Comprehensive - I chose this one over many others due t a small difference - at the bottom of each page, there is a place to add the date you saw the bird that is listed on that page, I think that is a COOL feature!

Sort of hard to find a bird in the book. Lots of nice pictures and info...but I’m not finding it easy to identify a bird.

I bought this book after my son and I fell in love with T is for Turbo, The Sideways Sliders, The Noisy Snails and The Whiney Supercharger by Michael J. Myers (The Motorhead Garage Productions Series of a true car enthusiast). My son enjoyed learning the alphabet with car parts so much that I figured buying a different one would teach new information but when I received my order I was quickly disappointed, and so was my 4 year old - he wants nothing to do with this book and goes straight to T is for Turbo.I’m not usually one to write reviews but my level of frustration was high enough to take the time to point this out to other parents looking to teach their kids about cars.. along with the fact that this book is copyright infringement.The only thing myself and some other customers didn’t agree with in T is for Turbo was the definition of Intercooler and Alex even copied that page! Not to mention his page for T literally says “T is for Turbo”. There are thousands of car parts to choose from, how could this be an accident?I recently learned that Michael ended up making the revision to intercooler at his customers requests so if you want the correct and original information to teach your kids.. I suggest buying T is for Turbo and the rest of the Motorhead Garage Productions series, not this knockoff.And I still don’t understand the bunny.

I would give it ZERO STARS if I could. This book is a complete rip off and shouldn't even be legal to sell! 10 out of 26 Pages are the same as T is for Turbo ABC Book. It even ends with Z is for ZipTie! Not to mention it looks like it was made with Microsoft Word. Refer to my photo for proof T is for Turbo is on top A is for Alternator on bottom. So no sorry Alex, I will not give you a 5 star review. You should be grateful for the 1.

Perfect book for my 2.5 year old vehicle obsessed toddler!

I own all of Michael Myers' childrens books. The Whiney SuperCharger, The Sideways Siders, The Noisy Snails, and most recently, T is for Turbo. This book is almost identical in design to his newest alphabet book, and even the description provided is copied. Do yourself (And the ORIGINAL author) a favor and don't buy this!

Gives a different perspective of the Civil War in Lebanon. Detail accounts of incident that happened during the war and the different groups/parties that were involved in the war. Great stories in what amounts to be an infomercial. It's doesn't really lay out concrete steps to follow through with very well.

Warning: this book is about how and why schools should incorporate the seven habits of highly effective people. It pretty much assumes you already know what they are and what they mean. If you don't, get the original.

Good book but has A LOT of fluff in it. Most of the book he spends talking about how great the programs are at different schools, which is interesting to know, but offers no value. After one or two stories it's like, "all right, I get it, it's a great program, now tell ME how I can replicate it," but then he goes on and on and on with more and more stories not telling you anything. Then, finally, towards the end,he starts to get into some talk that is helpful but it's very short lived. I'm a big fan of Mr. Covey's work, but this isn't one of his best. Better to read The 7 habits of highly effective families than this book.

Ample examples that touch upon how the 7 habits may work, would like to see in depth analysis or case studies on how setbacks were overcome, illustration on how to tackle setbacks and resistance would be invaluable information for someone like me who wishes to make things better for the children but stumbles from time to time facing setbacks

I simply love this book, am excited to start including these recipes in our home! I've been a huge fan of Rachel for years and an even bigger fan of Swedish culture since childhood. I got the printed copy of this book from Amazon UK. This book is another culinary journey that is similar to her earlier books on French cooking. It's not an entire compilation of Sweden but does have certain dishes that are unique to certain regions.So far, I've only made two recipes. I made a variation of the Västerbotten pie (sort of like a cheese quiche with onion and chanterelle mushrooms) with mature cheddar because the västerbotten (a Swedish cheese) was impossible to locate. It's a good recipe and wasn't difficult to make. The roasted butternut squash waffles sounded unusual but were actually pretty good. The only con I found was that the squash makes the waffles a bit squishy. They weren't crispy waffles but it was an interesting take on waffles. The recipe uses fresh butternut squash (that is roasted and then pureed) and doesn't give instructions on a canned equivalent. I used canned squash and the recipe was fine.There are 4 sections in the book for each season. The layout is more user friendly because I think it's easier to cook based on what's in season. The book is pretty salad heavy. There are lots of "bun" recipes (cardamon buns, black pudding, apple and cheese, St. Lucia etc.) . Of course, there's a recipe or two for meatballs. Unlike her previous books, there are quite a lot of vegetarian and gluten free recipes. I am not the latter but do appreciate meat free dishes once in awhile. My only complaint so far is that I would have liked a source list. The book doesn't call for many ingredients that would be difficult to find (maybe except for Swedish caviar, västerbotten or knäckebröd, a type of cracker) but I wanted to have some recommendations of what to buy online since I don't live in Sweden.I think it's too early to tell how high this cookbook will rank on my list of Rachel's books ("The Little Paris Kitchen" remains my favorite out of all 6 of her books.) but I do think it's a good intro to Swedish food for an English-speaking audience. The writing style feels very warm and personal with insights into her home life in Stockholm and new family. I think this book is less commercial than her last cookbook and it lacks her classic illustrations so if you're a fan like me you'll be missing those.EDIT NOVEMBER 2018: I have upgrade my original review from 4 stars to 5 after trying a few more recipes. I made the plum tosca cake (like an upside down cake with toasted nuts on top) and coconut macaroons with melted dark chocolate that were both very easy. I don't think the recipes I've tried are complicated for new cooks and most of the ingredients are pretty easy to find.

I can't believe I am just making a review now. This book was a page turner full of issues that many Muslim women can relate too. Many women accept Islam and the journey is full of growth and constant reality checks. It isn't always easy and it may be one of the hardest transitions in your life. The author was able to pen this experience in a non preachy way that was very entertaining and left you wanting more! It's a great read! Get it!

It made me cry a few times because I saw so much of myself in it. I said the Shahada almost a year ago and my life has changed in ways I never dreamed it could. Things just get better and better and this book is just one example of what can happen when you get your life right. Becoming a Muslim was the single most life-changing experience in my lifetime - and I would not change a moment of it. I can hardly wait for the next one!!
