Got this book since I'm considering a move to Portland. It's informative and helpful, but there seems to be an issue with the print. A section of the book is actually upside down and in reverse order making it awkward to read and find where I am. Not sure if this is intended to stick to the Keep Portland Weird motto...
This book is a goldmine if you are moving to Portland. It's a complicated city to figure out when you are relocating to the area. Detailed neighborhood information plus the general vibe in each section of the city really helps when looking for a rental house or a school. I found it an invaluable source from an unbiased perspective. Forever grateful!
Some information is a tad outdated....perhaps a new version is warranted. But this was very helpful in helping us select a neighborhood to buy a house in upon our return to Portland.

Very good information about the different areas. After exploring the area, I go back and re-read about that area. I would recommend this book for someone who is planning or just has moved to the Portland area.
